Job summary

Verisure is hiring a Data Engineer in Malmö within AI Models & Alarm Intelligence to build the data infrastructure powering AI-driven products. You will join a growing AI team working with Computer Vision, Edge AI, Cloud AI, and connected devices to train, deploy, monitor, and improve AI solutions used across multiple countries.

The role blends cloud infrastructure, data engineering, system design, and cross-functional collaboration, with a hands-on approach and a focus on reliability,

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and production-grade data pipelines experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining S3-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems.
• Experience collaborating with software engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines for AI model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with AI Ops, developers, and stakeholders across countries to enable scalable infrastructure.
• Develop and improve cloud-based data collection, processing, and storage from connected devices.
• Maintain and evolve data lake, training infrastructure, monitoring, and feedback loops from products.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers to reduce complexity and improve reliability.
• Help shape the long-term data architecture to support future AI-powered products.
