Job summary

IKEA is establishing a new Data Enablement team to make data discovery, trust and consumption easier across the enterprise. As a Data Engineer in this team, you’ll help build reusable data foundations and connect metadata, governance and data products into a seamless experience for thousands of coworkers and products.

You’ll work across platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Collibra, SAP, M3, and other enterprise systems, shaping scalable data pipelines, CI/CD, and observability while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Hands-on Databricks and modern data platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate data pipelines and supporting capabilities (metadata, lineage, data quality, observability).
• Build integrations between platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Collibra, SAP, M3 and others.
• Develop and maintain trusted data assets and reusable data products.
• Create robust CI/CD processes, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
