Job summary

International Data Centre Contractor in Skellefteå, Sweden, is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead day-to-day electrical on-site activities for a major data centre project. You will work with the Project Manager, planners, design and commercial teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery to quality standards.

You will oversee electrical subcontractors, manage construction sequencing, QA/QC, and technical coordination through to handover, while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in electrical construction with strong site management background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience managing electrical systems on large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical construction activities across the project.
• Lead day-to-day electrical site operations and coordinate with the wider project team.
• Manage electrical subcontractor performance, manpower and progress against programme.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC processes in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate construction schedules with planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals for compliance and buildability.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure construction information is issued in line with programme.
• Lead site, engineering, planning and handover meetings where required.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards across electrical works.
• Track variations and costs in conjunction with the commercial team.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and the project team.
• Manage electrical snagging and drive works through to close-out.
• Resolve technical, design and coordination issues affecting site delivery.
