The Role
You will support the operation and maintenance of a large data centre, with a focus on industrial fire protection, primarily gas-based fire suppression systems. The role also covers mechanical systems and general building maintenance. You will join an established team that is expanding following the addition of a data hall.
You will work alongside technicians and specialist contractors, with daily coordination from the Technical Team Leader.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Linköping. Working hours are 07:00–16:00, with no shift work and no on-call duties.
CBRE offers varied technical work at one site, structured onboarding, safety training and support from experienced colleagues. Relevant specialist training can be provided in line with site needs
Is this you?
You have relevant technical training, an apprenticeship or equivalent practical competence, together with around 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance and troubleshooting experience. More experienced technicians are also welcome.
Experience with industrial fire protection, particularly gas-based suppression systems, is an advantage, alongside mechanical maintenance, inspections or coordination of specialist contractors.
Previous data centre or industrial plant experience is an advantage. You do not need to be a fully developed fire protection specialist: relevant specialist skills can be developed through training and experience on site.
You need working English to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues and contractors; Swedish is an advantage. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required.
Your personal qualities matter. You are practical, curious and reliable, take safety seriously and follow through on your tasks. You enjoy sharing knowledge and are willing to work across disciplines. You know when to ask for support and keep clear records of your work.
