Job summary

Arkion is seeking an analytical and customer-oriented Data and AI Analytics Coordinator / Product Owner to bridge customers with Arkion’s Data Science, Delivery, and Commercial teams. This role sits at the intersection of business, analytics, and AI operations, coordinating stakeholder requirements and delivering hands-on analysis and dashboards to scale Arkion’s platform.

• Coordinate requirement gathering across customer stakeholders (Data Science, Analytics, Operations) and Arkion internal teams (Data Science, Delivery, Product, Commercial).
• Support customers in scaling their use of Arkion’s platform and AI capabilities.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications (metric definitions, business logic, data requirements, dashboard outlines, and acceptance criteria).
• Align stakeholders on definitions and document decisions.
• Own or coordinate AI template selection, editing and creation.
• Internal coordination regarding model applicability and deployment recommendations.
• Deliver data analysis and insights using Python, Metabase, Excel, and statistical techniques.
• Challenge, validate, and explain metrics and performance metrics.
• Provide recommendations based on data quality and operational outcomes.
• Educate customers on AI performance metrics and analytics concepts, including precision and recall, false positives and false negatives, defects per kilometer.
• Support customers in establishing QA workflows with Customer Delivery Manager.
• Gather and funnel customer feedback into Data Science and Product teams.
• Provide recommendations on when AI models should be improved based on data from real projects.
• Work with Product teams to improve analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Support the Commercial team with customer RFPs and technical responses.

Overview

Arkion is looking for an analytical and customer-oriented Data and AI Analytics Coordinator / Product Owner to bridge the gap between customers and the internal Data Science, Customer Delivery, and Commercial teams. This role sits at the intersection of business, analytics, and AI operations, coordinating stakeholder requirement gathering, translating needs into clear analytics specifications, and delivering hands-on analysis and dashboards that help customers scale their use of Arkion’s platform.

As Arkion expands into new markets, geographies, and use cases, selecting and configuring the right AI models is becoming increasingly complex. The role combines customer interaction, analytics, and coordination. It requires someone who can move seamlessly between customer discussions, technical problem-solving, data analysis, and internal collaboration.

The position will sit within the Data Science team and report directly to Arkion’s CTO.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Coordination & Specification

• Coordinate requirement gathering across customer stakeholders (Data Science, Analytics, Operations) and Arkion internal teams (Data Science, Delivery, Product, Commercial).
• Support customers in scaling their use of Arkion’s platform and AI capabilities.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications (metric definitions, business logic, data requirements, dashboard outlines, and acceptance criteria).
• Align stakeholders on definitions (e.g., what counts as a false positive/false negative, severity levels, defects per kilometer) and document decisions.

AI Model & Template Management

• Support AI model selection for new customers and new customer projects.
• Maintain an understanding of Arkion’s growing portfolio of AI models, including their dependencies, strengths, limitations, and best-fit use cases.
• Own or coordinate AI template selection, editing and creation.
• Internal coordination regarding model applicability and deployment recommendations.

Analytics & Data Quality

• Own and support analytics related to AI model quality, both internally and externally.
• Deliver data analysis and insights using tools such as Python, Metabase, Excel, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Challenge, validate, and explain metrics and performance metrics.
• Provide recommendations based on data quality and operational outcomes.

Customer Education & Enablement

• Educate customers on AI performance metrics and analytics concepts, including precision and recall, false positives and false negatives, defects per kilometer etc.
• Together with the Customer Delivery Manager, support customers in establishing effective QA (human-in-the-loop) workflows.

Cross-functional Coordination & Feedback Loops

• Gather and funnel customer feedback and the Arkion internal annotation team feedback into the Data Science and Product teams.
• Provide recommendations on when AI models should be improved based on data from real projects.
• Work closely with Product teams to continuously improve the platform, particularly analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Support the Commercial team with customer RFPs and technical responses.

Profile

Preferred experience and skills

• Background in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Excel, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to solve problems.
• Experience in project manager, product owner, analytical and/or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
