Job summary

Detectify AB in Stockholm is seeking a Solutions Engineer at the intersection of cybersecurity, customer interaction, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering. You will run technical evaluations, map results to customer success criteria, and act as a trusted security advisor.

You will guide customers on integrating Detectify into their SDLC/DevSecOps, lead executive reviews, and help translate findings into measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cybersecurity knowledge and advisory skills.
• Experience in solution or sales engineering for B2B tech, preferably cyber security.
• Strong English communication; additional European languages a plus.

We're looking for a Solution Engineer who’d like to live at the intersection of cybersecurity, customer interaction, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering.

The problem you will be solving

At Detectify, we help security teams scale their application security program to their full external attack surface, even beyond what they know they have today. We do this with a strong foundation in hacker methodologies.

Buyers of security tools need more than a feature checklist. They need proof that a solution fits their environment, integrates into workflows, and delivers measurable risk reduction. As a Cyber Security Solutions Engineer, you close that gap by helping prospects see how Detectify solves their specific security challenges during evaluation. You also help customers turn findings into prioritized action, adoption, and demonstrable ROI after the sale. You're the technical link connecting a security concern to a business outcome and a commercial partner to your Account Executive and Customer Success Manager.

What you will be doing

• Run technical evaluations and PoCs - from discovery and scoping to demos, finding validation, and wrap-up reports that map results to the customer's success criteria.
• Act as a trusted security advisor to prospects and customers, translating vulnerability findings and attack surface insights into business risk and helping teams prioritize and remediate what matters most.
• Guide customers on integrating Detectify into their SDLC/DevSecOps workflows and monitor adoption after go-live.
• Work in an AI native context by using AI tools to speed up account research, demo personalization, content creation, and build lightweight automations to streamline recurring workflows. You will also help prospects and customers adopt Detectify's agentic AI security solutions successfully.
• Lead QBRs and (at senior level) executive business reviews, using data-driven storytelling to show security posture improvements and ROI.
• Build and maintain reusable technical assets: demo environments, PoC playbooks, enablement content, and async video.
• Stay current on CVEs, attack techniques, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and others), and translate that expertise into customer-facing narratives.
• Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Security Research, and Support on customer health, feedback, and escalations - and feed market/competitive insights back into go-to-market.

We Think You Have

• Either
• a background in cybersecurity with strong interpersonal skills, or
• 2+ years of experience in Tech/SaaS as a solution or sales engineer, preferably in B2B cyber security solutions with experience selling technical or complex IT solutions that require consultative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; additional European languages are a plus!
• Preference in utilising modern AI tools to optimize the sales cycle, maximize daily productivity, and enhance prospect research.

This position is for the Stockholm office. We offer hybrid working, with access to our office in central Stockholm and would like to see you at the office at least 3 days per week.
