Tata Technologies is looking for an experienced Product Cybersecurity Officer to support and drive product cybersecurity activities across automotive vehicle programs. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in automotive cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and program coordination who can work effectively with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate product cybersecurity activities across vehicle development programs.
- Drive cybersecurity program deliverables in alignment with Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate cybersecurity compliance activities, certifications, audits, assessments, verification, and validation processes.
- Track and manage cybersecurity milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and action plans.
- Define and communicate cybersecurity requirements to suppliers and support compliance reviews.
- Support vehicle type approval and cybersecurity certification readiness across global markets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of cybersecurity objectives.
- Monitor emerging cybersecurity regulations and support updates to processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Provide regular status reporting to program leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support broader product cybersecurity initiatives based on program and business priorities
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience within the automotive industry.
- Good understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Experience coordinating complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity regulations and standards, including:
- UN R155
- ISO/SAE 21434
- Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS)
- Market-specific cybersecurity compliance requirements
- Euro 7 anti‑tampering requirements
- Experience supporting audits, certifications, regulatory assessments, and compliance programs.
- Strong project/program management skills with the ability to manage timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Familiar with automotive security.
- Must have hands on experience (Gemba Experience) in R155 and ISO 21434 in vehicle development programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to connected vehicle cybersecurity, cloud platforms, telematics, or other off‑board cybersecurity domains.
- Experience working with global cybersecurity certification programs.
- Swedish language skills are advantageous.
- Korean and/or Chinese language skills are considered a strong advantage.
