Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a CSA Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and ensure commercial success on data centre projects. You will work with project teams to deliver accurate cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance.

The role involves close collaboration with engineers and project managers, ensuring budgets are monitored and forecasted accurately while supporting Kirby’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in CSA Quantity Surveying, preferably in data centre or similar sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans for CSA packages.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Track and report on project costs, variations, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Kirby standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize value and mitigate risk.
  • Support monthly valuations, progress claims, and final account settlements.

Role Purpose

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, Cost Management tools).
