Isar Aerospace SE, based in Kiruna, is looking for a skilled Controls & Automation Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art engine test facility in the Arctic. This dynamic role involves working on electrical systems, performing upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring operational safety.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in a high-tech environment. Benefits include a share program, 25 vacation days, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an electrician, preferably in a high-tech or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with ATEX regulations and cryogenic systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wire and commission test facility electrical and pneumatic elements.
• Perform upgrades and troubleshooting on the facility PLC system.
• Prepare engines and related subsystems for testing.
• Maintain relevant tooling and equipment.
• Assess safety risks for electrical systems.
• Lead improvement projects for workspace efficiency.
