H&M Group is seeking an experienced Trade & Customs Operations Manager to lead and develop cross-border trade activities across the Logistics Continent, ensuring compliant, efficient flows and future growth.

You will define goals, manage budgets, collaborate with local Trade & Customs teams and Global Trade, and drive continuous improvement in import/export, cost, risk and sustainability.

Qualifikationen

• Deep expertise in strategic Trade processes, international trade operations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of import/export operations, Trade documentation and customs-controlled goods.
• A strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to turn trends into clear plans and actions.
• Good understanding of end-to-end logistics, including international shipping, procurement and vendor management.
• Strong commercial understanding with budgets, costs and performance follow-up.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate in a complex environment.
• Experience building productive relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong people leadership and change management skills.
• Understanding of retail and online business needs.

Aufgaben

• Lead continent Trade operations across cross-border inbound, outbound, returns and DC movement flows.
• Define operational goals and lead Trade teams continent-wide.
• Monitor performance, costs and data quality with local teams and Global Trade.
• Own the continent Trade budget and related reporting and invoicing controls.
• Ensure compliance with import/export standards for goods under customs control.
• Drive continuous improvement balancing cost, service, sustainability and end-to-end flow.
• Lead Trade security and risk management activities across the continent.
• Build relationships with Trade suppliers and oversee performance against SLAs.
• Support Trade-related procurement needs and participate in procurement processes.
• Act as a key Trade & Customs contact for markets across the continent.
• Collaborate with Global Trade to strengthen compliance and cross-continent synergies.
• Support local Trade & Customs team development as the business grows.
• Stay close to end-to-end logistics performance, KPIs and risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve sustainability from social, economic and environmental perspectives.
• Oversee inland haulage operations where applicable.
