Job summary

Qt Group, a leader in embedded software development, seeks a Software Engineer for the IAR license management team. You will work on cloud services powering subscription products and a unified client/server stack across Windows and Linux.

You’ll collaborate across the team to evolve the cloud platform, explore DevSecOps, and drive secure, scalable license management solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, and other industries.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with scripting in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with strongly typed languages such as C# or Java.
• Experience building or integrating REST APIs.
• Comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments.
• Must understand Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based services powering IAR's license management platform.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Keep services current and secure with updates.
• Share responsibility for client-side license software alongside the cloud platform.
• Collaborate on architecture, priorities, and technical decisions.
• Contribute to containerization, cloud infra, and CI/CD.
