Job summary

Neo4j in Malmö, Sweden is seeking a Cloud Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives across IT, security, and engineering teams. You will mentor peers, help define the cloud roadmap, and ensure secure, cost-efficient operation of our cloud environments.

Collaborate with security to align with compliance, work with engineering to optimize deployments, and develop automation and IaC practices. This global role requires clear communication and proactive problem solving to accelerate delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with in-depth knowledge of at least two cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience designing and implementing cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, documentation, reporting, and knowledge-sharing within IT and cloud teams.
• Define and deliver the roadmap for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure alignment with cloud security and compliance goals.
• Liaise with Engineering teams to optimize cloud usage and management.
• Operationalize security, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
• Serve as SME for cloud within IT and continue expanding expertise.
