Job summary

Precis is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to design and build cloud-native systems on Google Cloud Platform. You will craft backend services and data pipelines in TypeScript/Node.js and deliver full‑stack applications with React and Next.js.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a software engineer at an intermediate level (L2 within our internal leveling framework).
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and backend development using Node.js.
• Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications, including frontend development with React and Next.js.
• Experience building and operating backend services, APIs, and/or data pipelines in production.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
• A solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, secure coding practices, access management, and resilient system design.
• Experience working with Git in a team-based development environment.
• Ability to work independently on tasks while collaborating effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and maintain full-stack solutions, including user interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Develop and operate cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform, working with services such as Cloud Run, Datastore/Firestore, and other common GCP components.
• Contribute to internal platforms and tooling that enable large-scale creative production, automation, and custom workflows.
• Ensure solutions are designed and implemented with strong security-first principles, cloud infrastructure security, supply chain security, and data protection standard operating procedures.
• Work with Git as part of a collaborative development workflow, including code reviews and shared ownership of codebases.
• Participate in documentation and knowledge sharing to support long-term maintainability of systems.
