Job summary

IKEA seeks an Identification and Standardisation Leader to guide classification standards, master data governance, and information modelling across IKEA’s value chain. You will coordinate with business stakeholders, data specialists, and product teams, and act as Scrum Master for the IDaaS DevOps team to ensure structured delivery and alignment.

You will enable enterprise-wide data sharing, promote GS1 standards, and support AI, automation, and analytics initiatives while shaping governance

Qualifications

• Experience in classification, master data management, information modelling, or data governance.
• Knowledge of GS1 standards and frameworks for data modelling and validation rules to enable trusted data across systems.
• Experience with data governance and modelling tools such as Collibra and ER/Studio.
• Understanding of master data management, metadata, reference data, data quality, and governance principles.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical data standards, models, and governance practices.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern classification standards including GS1 GPC and Google Product Taxonomy to support business needs.
• Develop and maintain classification models, principles, and business rules for scalable information across IKEA's processes.
• Ensure IKEA data can be effectively mapped and utilized across classification systems for interoperability and AI readiness.
• Maintain Collibra and ER/Studio to strengthen enterprise-wide data governance and modelling.
• Enable enterprise-wide master data sharing and promote GS1 standards across IKEA.
• Lead IDaaS DevOps team as Scrum Master, coordinating delivery and aligning stakeholders.
• Contribute to standards development by identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
