Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Head of Engineering to build and lead the team advancing RELEX Cortex and the agent-first platform. You will scale the platform, ensure security, and decide the product direction with focus on reusable capabilities across teams.

You will report to the VP of Platform Engineering and shape how an autonomous engineering organization works, balancing delivery, quality and growth in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering team with accountability for delivery, quality and performance.
• Strong judgment on production security, multi-tenant isolation, and operability.
• Proven ability to hire, grow engineers, and set effective ways of working.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in scope, team structure, and priorities.
• Passion for RELEX's AI-native direction and using AI as a default approach.
• Fluent written and spoken English with clear communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Own security, isolation, and production readiness of the platform.
• Build and lead an agent-first engineering team and set operating norms.
• Oversee end-to-end engineering: code review, QA, releases, monitoring, incident response, on-call, and SDLC standards.
• Define the platform boundary and ensure reusable capabilities for all teams.
• Own strategy, hiring, team structure, and budget for the area.
