Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, life science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and availability of chemicals, PPE, and laboratory consumables.
• Register incoming chemicals in KLARA or equivalent systems.
• Prepare chemicals, solutions, and materials for staff and user experiments.
• Organise and maintain safe, compliant chemical storage and laboratory environments.
• Conduct annual chemical inventories for support laboratories and beamlines.
• Provide practical chemical handling support and laboratory onboarding for staff and users.
• Support risk assessments, laboratory safety, and systematic work environment activities.
• Support the science division management in chemical management and safety responsibilities.
• Maintain and improve laboratory procedures, documentation, routines, and workflows.
• Support beamline operations, including mail‑in experiments, sample logistics, and 3D printing activities.
