Job summary

ALTEN Sverige AB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer focused on visualization to support the full lifecycle of mechanical systems. The role involves transforming CAD data into high-quality visualization data and collaborating across design, engineering and production teams.

You will work with CATIA V5, Deltagen, and Photoshop to prepare visualization-ready datasets and deliver data packages for internal stakeholders, across automotive and other industries.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in 3D CAD environments, preferably CATIA V5.
• Experience handling complex CAD assemblies and product structures.
• Experience from automotive or commercial vehicle development.
• Understanding of cross-functional collaboration (design–engineering–production).

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD data for visualization (geometry clean-up, simplification, structuring).
• Perform material assignment and scene setup for visualization.
• Ensure high data quality through validation and QA checks.
• Create technical visualization images for internal communication.
• Produce and deliver visualization data packages for other departments.
