Job summary

Professional Galaxy AB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – CAD Visualization to support the transformation of CAD data into high-quality visualization data. The role emphasizes material assignment, data cleaning, and QA to deliver visualization-ready datasets for internal use and downstream stakeholders.

You will work with Deltagen, CATIA V5 and Adobe Photoshop in a cross-functional project environment with product design, engineering, and market stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D CAD environments, preferably CATIA V5, for visualization preparation.
• Experience handling complex CAD assemblies and product structures.
• Automotive or commercial vehicle development experience is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration between design, engineering and production.
• English fluency is required; Swedish is meritorious.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD data for visualization (geometry clean-up, simplification, structuring).
• Perform material assignment and scene setup for visualization.
• Ensure high data quality through validation and QA checks.
• Create technical visualization images for internal communication.
• Produce and deliver visualization data packages for other departments.
