Job summary

Integro-Consulting-Ab is seeking a driven Buyer for direct material procurement in the automotive sector. You will manage supplier relationships, develop sourcing strategies, and drive cost and supply chain improvements to support vehicle production.

You will lead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery meet plan. This role requires collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Direct procurement experience in automotive or similar industry preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven Buyer to join a dynamic and innovative environment within the automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for direct material procurement, managing supplier relationships and driving sourcing strategies for components used in vehicle production.

You will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and supply security, while contributing to the development of competitive and sustainable supply chains.

What you will do

Develop and implement commodity and sourcing strategies for direct materials

Lead supplier sourcing activities, including RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations

Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery

Your profile

Minimum 3+ years of experience in direct procurement, preferably within the automotive industry

Degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar

Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management

Strong understanding of automotive supply chains and production processes

Experience working in a cross-functional and international environment

Good technical understanding of automotive components or systems

Skills & tools

Strong analytical skills and experience working with cost breakdowns and sourcing data

Advanced user of Excel

Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or similar

Fluent in English (written and spoken), Swedish is a plus

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
