Job summary

Integro Consulting AB is seeking a driven Buyer to join a dynamic automotive environment. You will own direct material procurement, manage supplier relationships, and drive sourcing strategies for vehicle components.

You will ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply security while contributing to sustainable supply chains. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing and participate in supplier development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in direct procurement, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of automotive supply chains and production processes.
• Experience working in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Good technical understanding of automotive components or systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commodity and sourcing strategies for direct materials
• Lead supplier sourcing activities, including RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
• Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and support target setting for your commodity
• Handle supplier negotiations for new programs, engineering changes, and ongoing production
• Ensure supplier capacity, risk management, and supply chain stability
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing decisions
• Contribute to product development projects from a procurement perspective
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and value creation

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with cost breakdowns and sourcing data
• Advanced user of Excel
• Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or similar
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), Swedish is a plus
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
