Role Overview

As Business Developer & Controller you will report to the VP Business Control and work closely leaders across the business units Patient Handling and Mobility, commercial leaders around the world, representatives from manufacturing and supply chain functions, as well as the Group Finance team. You will play a key role in driving the organization’s growth, overseeing strategic initiatives, and ensuring their successful implementation at all levels.

Your mission is to support strategic initiatives, enhance business intelligence, and ensure effective execution of plans that deliver measurable impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, driving decision‑making and corrective actions.
  • Support turnaround projects to improve underperforming areas, focusing on operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Contribute to Etac’s business intelligence agenda by improving access to financial and operational data for actionable insights.
  • Develop strategic plans for business units, ensuring alignment with short‑ and long‑term goals.
  • Track execution of strategies, identify roadblocks, and collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain accountability.
  • Challenge local finance departments budgets, forecasts, and outcomes; prepare investment requests.
  • Prepare business review materials and presentations on strategic initiatives, performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Actively participate in Etac Group’s finance community, contributing to business reviews, training, and development of the future business control function.

Your Profile

  • Experience: 2–4 years in management consulting or similar analytical/strategic roles.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset.
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, knowledge in Power BI is an advantage.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Project and change management experience.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn.
    • Genuine interest in understanding the business and driving value creation.
  • Language: Fluent in English (required). Swedish is a strong plus.
