Empiric is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a global Banking client on a major Autogiro and payment migration programme in Stockholm. The role translates business needs into clear requirements and aligns business, IT and technical teams through migration.

You will document AS-IS processes, support migration planning, and work with Architects, Product Owners and Product Specialists. Strong experience in banking/payments and stakeholder management is essential.

Business Analyst – Banking & Payments - Global Banking Client

Location: Stockholm

Type: Freelance

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a global banking client on a major Autogiro and payment migration programme. You’ll play a central role in translating business needs into clear requirements, analysing existing payment processes and ensuring alignment between business, IT and technical teams throughout the migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain business requirements and use cases
• Document AS-IS processes, business rules and payment flows
• Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses
• Work closely with Architects, Product Owners and Product Specialists
• Support migration planning and preparation for development

Requirements

• Strong Business Analysis experience within banking, payments or financial services
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation and process analysis
• Experience working on complex change or migration programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Structured, analytical and pragmatic approach
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements

Experience with Autogiro, Bankgiro, ISO 20022 or Request to Pay is highly desirable for this position.
