Beredskapslyftet Ideell Fören is recruiting for a breakfast kitchen team member at a hotel in Gothenburg. This is a hands-on, high-volume role supporting breakfast service for over 500 guests; not a chef position but requires prior kitchen or breakfast experience.

The role is part-time, about 20 hours per week with opportunities to pick shifts across the hotel chain. Early-morning shifts and adherence to hygiene standards are essential, with salary according to HRF collective bargaining.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Swedish and ability to follow simple instructions.
• Upper-intermediate working proficiency in English and ability to handle most job-related communication independently.
• Previous professional experience from a kitchen, breakfast kitchen or similar food-service environment is required.
• Ability to work early mornings and prioritize tasks during breakfast service.
• Flexibility to work at different stations within the breakfast service when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes as part of the kitchen team serving more than 500 guests.
• Prepare food and ingredients efficiently before and during a high-volume breakfast service.
• Replenish and maintain the breakfast buffet when needed.
• Cooking for hotel staff on shifts where this is required.
• Keep the breakfast kitchen clean, organised and ready for service.
• Follow food hygiene and safety routines.
• Support other breakfast stations, including the buffet, dining area and dishwashing, when needed.
• Work efficiently during busy breakfast periods and prioritise tasks in the right order.
