Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Kista is hiring two early-career Baseband Developers to join the RU Baseband Software team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain C/C++ software running on Ericsson's radio baseband ASICs and DSP platforms, focusing on high-performance, cycle-critical signal processing for 5G networks.

You will work with experienced engineers, participate in code reviews, and learn modern development practices, including AI-assisted tooling, while gradually taking ownership of software

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn complex technical topics.
• Interest in modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components in C/C++.
• Work with high-performance signal-processing algorithms and real-time embedded software.
• Analyze and optimize software for performance, cycle consumption, latency, and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and feature development.
• Troubleshoot software issues and support verification activities.
• Learn how software interacts with specialized baseband hardware and multi-core architectures.
• Apply modern development practices, including AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Gradually take ownership of software components and technical deliveries.
