Job summary

Filed is building AI-driven tax tools to bring transparency to the profession. We are hiring a Backend Developer (Python) to own core services end-to-end, from design through production, and to push performance, reliability, and scale for professional users worldwide.

You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative team, shaping APIs, data models, and LLМ-powered pipelines, with visibility into impact and equity. A strong focus on shipping fast and measurable results applies here.

Qualifications

• Strong Python: production services and APIs experience.
• Agent-first workflow understanding and LLm-driven pipelines.
• Strong React/Typescript: frontend-handling of systems beyond backend.
• Solid grasp of data modeling and distributed systems.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services across AI tax prep products.
• Own APIs and data models used by the product.
• Ship fast, monitor metrics, and iteratively improve.
• Make LLМ-powered pipelines reliable and observable in production.
• Keep the codebase clean, typed, and scalable.
