Wrknest is seeking a Backend Software Engineer for an international technology company in Stockholm. In this role, you'll develop vital backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. The ideal candidate has over 5 years' experience with development for connected devices, a strong understanding of web security, and is proficient in SQL databases. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience working with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Minimum 3 years with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing software for connected devices or complex environments.
• Good understanding of web security fundamentals.
• Strong debugging skills and defensive programming experience.
• Professional experience with Git, Unix/Linux, and Docker.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Valid Swedish work permit and resident in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services for large-scale connected systems.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable APIs and workflows.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions.
• Review code and support high engineering standards.
