Job summary

Spotify Stockholm is seeking an AV Engineer II to own meeting-room AV across EMEA, from daily rooms to boardrooms, partnering with global teams and vendors.

You will deploy and maintain AV solutions, document designs, and lead initiatives; tune Dante/Q-SYS/Crestron, support executive meetings, and explore AI-powered capabilities.

This role requires 3+ years AV experience, strong IT fundamentals, and collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV experience and delivered AV projects through design, integration, commissioning, and ongoing support.
• Understand hardware behind sophisticated AV systems, including DSP, control processors, amplifiers, with Crestron, Q-SYS, and Dante; certifications such as AVIXA CTS or Q-SYS Level 2 are a plus.
• Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and monitoring video conferencing systems (Google Meet hardware, Zoom Rooms).
• Experience supporting senior executives or VIPs with discreet, professional support when priorities are time-sensitive.
• Knowledge of IT networking fundamentals and how AV systems communicate across enterprise networks.
• Familiar with Dante and Q-SYS including multicast, QoS, and clocking; experience with Jira or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to create training materials.
• Curiosity about AI in meetings and ability to experiment with AI tools to improve work.

Responsibilities

• Own the AV experience across EMEA, including meeting rooms, boardrooms, common areas, labs, lounges, and digital signage.
• Provide high-quality AV support for executive and VIP meetings, ensuring reliable technology when it matters.
• Design, document, deliver, and maintain AV solutions in partnership with the global AV team; review external designs for compliance.
• Lead AV initiatives and projects from scope through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Act as escalation point for complex AV issues and support incident, problem, and change management.
• Monitor AV infrastructure and performance; identify opportunities for improvement and test new solutions.
• Deploy and support AI-powered capabilities across meeting rooms and video conferencing.
• Maintain AV asset information, contribute to forecasting and budgeting, and create technical documentation and training materials.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal partners; share knowledge and onboard new team members.
