Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an AUTOSAR Verification Engineer / Embedded Test Engineer to plan, develop, and execute automated test suites for a next-generation Zone Controller Platform. You will verify BSW, MCAL drivers, and SWCs against functional, safety, and diagnostic requirements on HIL test benches and virtual targets, ensuring ASPICE SWE.4/SWE.5/SWE.6 and ISO 26262 ASIL D standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Test Engineer or Verification Engineer in automotive ECU software.
• Solid understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture (BSW, MCAL, RTE) and automotive protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN).
• Experience with diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP) and test/diagnostic tools.
• Practical use of ASPICE verification processes SWE.4, SWE.5, SWE.6 and ISO 26262 ASIL D.
• Experience with defect tracking, requirement traceability, and version control tools; familiarity with CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute automated test scripts for AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and SWCs.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing on HIL test benches, target ECU hardware, and virtual environments using CANoe and CAPL.
• Execute verification activities per ASPICE SWE.4/SWE.5/SWE.6 with full traceability from requirements to tests.
• Identify, log, and retest software defects and analyze bus/diagnostic traces; collaborate with AUTOSAR developers for root-cause resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous verification and rapid regression testing.
