Job summary

STARK is seeking a dedicated UAV Test Pilot to bridge digital design and flight reality. You will lead flight tests for experimental and modified systems, working with Flight Test Engineers to validate performance and safety across Europe.

Your role involves testing high-performance airframes, monitoring telemetry, and providing actionable feedback to software and hardware teams to shape future autonomous flight technologies.

Qualifications

• Valid radio operator certificate (e.g., BZF) or the ability to obtain one immediately.
• Demonstrable manual piloting skills of high-performance fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs (precision take-offs, landings, maneuvering).
• Experience with professional GCS software, mission planning tools, and telemetry monitoring.
• Must be a citizen of a NATO member state (due to export control and security regulations).
• Familiarity with BVLOS and experimental test operations.

Responsibilities

• Flight Operations & Execution: remote piloting during development and validation campaigns, test envelopes.
• Test Planning & Preparation: contribute to flight profiles, hazard analysis, weather constraints.
• Safety, Regulatory & Documentation: act as safety authority for sorties, maintain deconfliction per regulations.
