Contechs is recruiting for an Exterior/Interior Lighting Studio Engineer to lead design integration within automotive lighting programs in Gothenburg. You will communicate design intents to engineering and translate requirements into feasible solutions, while shaping lamp concepts for exterior and interior applications.
The role requires deep lamp technology knowledge, Catia and Teamcenter proficiency, and extensive automotive experience.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of lamp technology, engineering and regulatory requirements.
- Able to translate design intent into feasible technical solutions.
- Extensive automotive lamp concept engineering experience.
- Experience with design studios and vehicle development processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing, tooling, and lead times.
Responsabilités
- Be the voice of design, communicating design intents and needs within engineering.
- Translating engineering requirements into design possibilities.
- Set up new light concepts in Catia and optical software.
- Benchmark all competitors to secure competitive lighting solutions.
- Travel to China as needed for project progression.
