Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry or closely related field relevant to protein biochemistry research.
• Evidence of high-quality independent research in protein biochemistry with a strong publication record.
• University-level teaching experience in biochemistry with demonstrated ability to plan and develop teaching.
• At least ten weeks of teacher training or equivalent knowledge.
• Ability to teach in Swedish or English.
• Ability to obtain external grants and manage research projects.
• Ability to develop and lead research activities with supervision of students.
• Documentation of research and teaching expertise relevant to the duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent, internationally competitive research in protein biochemistry.
• Teach biochemistry courses in English and Swedish at first-, second- and third-cycle levels.
• Participate in department administration and development of teaching materials.
• Supervise doctoral students and develop cross-disciplinary collaborations.
