Job summary

Karolinska Institutet is seeking an Assistant Professor in Epidemiology or Biostatistics to lead an independent research group and contribute to teaching efforts. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary research community in Solna, Sweden, with opportunities for collaboration and acquiring research funding.

This role is full-time and offers competitive monthly salary under individual salary settings governed by KI's collective agreements. Applicants must hold a relevant PhD and demonstrate strong research and teaching capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in research environments outside KI.
• At least two peer-reviewed original scientific publications as first or last author.
• Ability to contribute positively to the department’s long-term scientific development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an independent research group.
• Teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Collaborate within the department and contribute to department activities.
