Job summary

CO-WORKER TECHNOLOGY AB in Sweden seeks Application Engineers in Network Control to optimize power generation, transmission, and distribution for customers worldwide. You will help ensure safe, efficient operation of power grids while collaborating across borders.

You will act as a software developer to support other application engineers, configure and enhance baseline applications, and develop workflows between SCADA/EMS/GMS and IT/OT systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (or higher) degree in energy systems, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Basic understanding of electric power generation and transmission networks.
• Basic understanding of SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and FORTRAN.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer locations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as a software developer to support other application engineers in system deliveries to customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
• Collaborate with customers' experts to configure, customize, or enhance baseline applications to meet customer requirements.
• Develop efficient and robust workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS systems and IT/OT systems.
• Create and execute test plans and procedures with customers to ensure the system meets contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and resolve technical and software issues reported by customers in collaboration with the technical team.
• Provide expert support to the proposals and tendering team, enabling high quality bids.
• Embrace safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and fostering a culture of care.

• Coordinate and efficiently resolve technical and software issues reported by customers in collaboration with our technical team.
• Provide expert support to the proposals and tendering team, enabling to submit high quality bids.
