This role focuses on control logic design, HMI development, and project execution for industrial automation projects in sectors such as power, utilities & facility, and manufacturing. function.Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) • Develop and implement control strategies, logic diagrams, and HMI graphics using ABB 800xA tools. • Configure system components, control loops, and alarm management functions. • Perform system testing, simulation, and validation of control logic and process interlocks. • Support project lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover. • Collaborate with project managers and clients to define functional requirements and design specifications. • Provide on-site startup and commissioning support for ABB 800xA systems. • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning activities. • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including test procedures, configuration guides, and operator manuals. • Support with troubleshooting • Set connections from control system to high level information systems with OPC DA/UA and similar protocols.Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control Engineering. • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with ABB 800xA configuration and programming. • Strong understanding of control system design, PLC/DCS logic, and HMI engineering. • Knowledge of process control principles and industrial communication networks. • Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, etc.). • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Specific skills • Good skills in English since it is main used language • Strong experience in ABB 800xA Minerals library • Experience in ABB 800xA PCMS / Smartpower library • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for control systems. • Knowledge of SQL databases, OPC(DA/UA) servers, and historian systems. • Knowledge of communication protocols like PROFINET, Modbus, IEC61850**Why Work at Lyten**At Lyten, you’ll be part of a team that’s redefining what’s possible in energy, materials, and manufacturing.
