Job summary

Yabie seeks experienced API Developers to build, improve, and maintain scalable integrations in a fast-moving fintech environment. You’ll work hands-on with APIs connecting our platform, partners, and the payment ecosystem, designing new solutions and improving existing integrations with a focus on quality and maintainability.

You’ll develop robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, design data models, and collaborate with product and business teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining robust REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong background in backend/API development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and API Gateways.

We’re growing our tech team and are now looking for two experienced API Developers who want to build, improve and maintain scalable integrations and services in a fast-moving fintech environment.

What You’ll Do

As an API Developer at Yabie, you’ll work hands-on with the APIs connecting our platform, partners and payment ecosystem. You’ll be involved in everything from designing new solutions to improving existing integrations, with a strong focus on quality, scalability and maintainability.

Who We Think You Are

We’re looking for developers with around 3–5+ years of professional experience, ideally with a strong background in backend and API development. You enjoy understanding how systems connect, solving complex problems and building solutions that other developers actually enjoy working with.

We also think you:

• Have solid experience developing and maintaining APIs.
• Have worked with Java and Spring Boot in production environments.
• Understand databases and data modelling.
• Have experience with an API Gateway such as Kong or similar.
• Care about clean, reliable and maintainable code.
• Are curious about new technology and modern development practices.
• See AI-assisted development as an opportunity rather than a buzzword.
• Speak Swedish.
