Analyst - Sustainability and Financial Communications

AVA is looking for a driven analyst with an interest in sustainability and financial communications. The role involves working with senior executives at listed companies to strengthen their sustainability work and financial communications toward the capital market, ensuring compliance with EU sustainability directives and standards, and producing high‑quality deliverables.

Your role

As an analyst at AVA you will conduct sustainability reporting, monitor regulatory frameworks, analyse sustainability data, perform double materiality assessments, produce content for sustainability and interim reports, develop messaging for the capital market, prepare press releases, financial presentations, prospectuses, and support various corporate events.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on and preparing sustainability reports in accordance with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).
  • Monitoring, interpreting and applying sustainability‑related regulations and frameworks, including CSDDD, the EU Taxonomy, Green Claims and SBTi.
  • Analysing and reviewing sustainability data, including quality control and data interpretation for reporting.
  • Conducting double materiality assessments to identify material sustainability matters.
  • Producing content for sustainability reports and the sustainability sections of interim reports and annual reports.
  • Strategic analysis and development of messaging and positioning toward the capital market and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing press releases, financial presentations and other capital market communications in connection with transactions and corporate events.
  • Preparing prospectuses and presentation materials ahead of listings and capital markets days.
  • Supporting the production and review of interim reports, year‑end reports and annual reports.
  • Communicating clients' sustainability work to the capital market.
Your profile

We are looking for someone who is in the final stage of their studies in sustainability and economics, or a recent graduate, with a strong interest in sustainability, financial communications and the dynamics of the capital market. A structured, thorough approach and a creative drive to deliver high‑quality work are essential.

Qualifications
  • An understanding of sustainability, Swedish business and the capital market.
  • Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Strong writer able to formulate and package messages.
  • Solid experience working with presentations in PowerPoint, building models in Excel and producing reports in Word. Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp new digital tools and software.
  • Experience with the Adobe Suite is a plus.
