Job summary

Outpost24, a European cybersecurity company, seeks an AI Software Engineer in Stockholm, Karlskrona, Barcelona or Leuven. You will develop core AI services, refine models, and enable teams to integrate AI into products and workflows using Python and Golang.

The role combines hands-on engineering with applied AI, including working on LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and cloud technologies. Hybrid setup with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python experience for AI/ML development.
• Solid ML fundamentals and exposure to modern AI frameworks.
• Hands-on with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompts, and model fine-tuning.
• Strong software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system design.
• Experience building scalable, reliable software solutions.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control.
• Familiarity with Agile development and collaborative environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop AI solutions in Python, with supporting services in Golang.
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI services and APIs.
• Provide AI expertise and troubleshooting across the organization.
• Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize ML/LLM-based models.
• Integrate AI capabilities into products and systems.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to coding standards, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI-powered systems.
• Conduct code reviews and resolve defects and performance issues.
