About the role

As an Android Developer at Nextory, you’ll not only design, build, and refine our Android app. You’ll help shape how we leverage AI and agentic ways of working to create smarter, more adaptive user experiences. We believe that the future of software engineering is more about authoring intent than writing lines of code.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to make every interaction feel personalized and inspiring. You’ll explore how autonomous systems and human creativity can combine to redefine how stories are discovered, shared, and enjoyed.

Candidate profile

You take pride in building seamless, performant apps, and you’re just as comfortable collaborating with humans as you are working alongside AI‑powered tools, agents, and workflows.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

• A relevant educational background in computer science, engineering, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience working as an Android Developer in fast‑paced environments
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks
• Experience working with Jetpack Compose, and good knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and Room for seamless app architecture and data handling

We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Paris and Bangalore. Our hybrid work policy includes four days in the office and Wednesdays as a work‑from‑home day.
