Job summary

Avalanchestudios is seeking an autonomous DevOps & AI Engineer to design and build an AI-assisted system for automating game project branch integration across Unreal Engine 5 and APEX. You will automate Git and Perforce workflows and integrate with Jenkins for preflight validation and automated testing, while using LLM-powered agentic workflows to resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

• Autonomous DevOps & AI Engineer with focus on game project integrations.
• Experience automating Git/Perforce workflows and Jenkins-based CI/CD.
• Comfort with Unreal Engine 5 asset merging and Blueprint recompilation.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven agentic workflows and RAG-based orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an AI-assisted integration system for game branches across UE5 and APEX, with Git and Perforce support.
• Develop intelligent conflict resolution using LLM-powered workflows.
• Automate engine tooling using Python and engine APIs.
• Create backend agent framework and internal frontend dashboard for workflow orchestration.
• Define KPIs for AI effectiveness and system reliability.
• Master Perforce, Git, and Jenkins pipelines within an existing CI/CD setup.
• Understand Unreal Engine project structures and asset pipelines, including merging .uasset and Blueprints.
• Prototype practical AI applications using LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation for code diffs and conflict resolution.
• Act as polyglot developer bridging Python, C#, C++, React and Node.js to orchestrate components.
