Job summary

Avalanche Studios is looking for a highly autonomous DevOps & AI Engineer to design and build a pioneering AI-assisted system for game project management in Stockholm. You will automate complex integration across Unreal Engine 5 and APEX using Git and Perforce in collaboration with Jenkins.

Your responsibilities include developing intelligent conflict resolution systems and a frontend dashboard. The role requires deep knowledge in version control, game engines, and applied AI, pushing the boundaries of automation in game production.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in both Perforce and Git, with hands-on experience designing Jenkins pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 project structures and challenges with game-specific assets.
• Proven ability to build applications using LLMs through APIs, including prompt and context engineering.
• Proficient in Python, C#, and C++, with full-stack development experience for dashboards.
• Highly self-directed, driving complex projects and designing resilient architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in the game industry with an appreciation for technical complexities.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy an AI-assisted platform for game project integration.
• Implement LLM-powered workflows to classify, triage, and resolve merge conflicts.
• Automate tasks using Python scripting and interact with Unreal Engine APIs.
• Build a backend agent framework and an internal project dashboard.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for AI effectiveness and system reliability.
