Job summary

SME Careers invites an Attorney / Lawyer SME to join as a remote hourly contractor to review AI-generated legal responses and craft expert legal content, evaluating reasoning quality and provide precise written feedback.

You will assess accuracy, clarity, and risk, identify errors in reasoning, and write high-quality explanations and model answers to improve the world’s premier AI models.

Qualifications

• JD/LLB and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of professional experience practicing law.
• Strong ability to perform issue spotting and structured legal analysis (rules → application → conclusion).

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create detailed prompts and gold-standard legal outputs (issue analyses, drafting examples, checklists, policies, memos).
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, clarity, defensibility, and risk awareness.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, confidentiality risks, bias; validate reliability across legal scenarios.
