Cambio is seeking an AI First System Engineer to design and build intelligent systems powering the future of healthcare. This role focuses on creating AI-native architectures rather than adding AI on top, shaping scalable, resilient solutions for millions of users.

The engineer will work at the intersection of architecture, AI, and product, defining data flows and integrating AI capabilities into real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on experience in frontend and backend development (code style not important).
• Deep expertise in AI and applied AI solutions (private and professional products).
• Solid systems engineering background with distributed systems design and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-first healthcare systems.
• Rethink system architecture to be AI-native, not just add-on AI.
• Define data flows and integrate AI capabilities into real-world apps.
• Collaborate with Product teams and external stakeholders, setting standards for modern AI-native systems.
• Own lifecycle from concept to live operation and ensure reliability and observability.
