Job summary

Instabee, a fast-growing last-mile logistics group, is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Accountant to join our global Finance team. You will manage day-to-day AP activities for Swedish and international entities, ensure invoices are coded and paid on time, and support month-end closing.

You'll work with colleagues across Finance, contribute to process improvements, and help drive our AI and automation initiatives to modernize AP workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree or education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and invoice processes.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system.
• Structured, detail-oriented and organized approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify, process and record vendor invoices for Swedish and international Instabee entities.
• Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and recorded.
• Manage and book vendor payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Handle vendor queries and invoice- and payment-related questions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely approvals.
• Support month-end closing, AP reporting and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline AP processes.
• Work closely with the Accounting and Controlling teams and support other accounting activities when needed.
• Support the development and improvement of AP processes through the adoption of AI and automation tools.

About The Role

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be an important part of our Accounting team, responsible for day-to-day AP activities across our Swedish and international entities. You will help ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on time, payments are handled efficiently, and vendor relationships are well managed.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and stakeholders throughout the organisation, giving you broad exposure to our international business. We are on an exciting journey of developing and modernising our current processes, with a strong focus on leveraging AI, and you will play an active part in shaping this transformation.

Your Responsibilities

We believe you have

• A degree or relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
• A good understanding of accounting principles and invoice processes
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system
• A structured, detail-oriented and organised approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and improve
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
