Job summary

Instabee, a fast-growing Europe-wide e-commerce enabler, seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our global Finance team from Sweden. You will handle day-to-day AP activities across Swedish and international entities, ensuring timely invoice processing, accurate coding, and efficient payments.

You will collaborate withFinance and stakeholders, helping modernise processes with AI and automation while supporting month-end close and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify, process and record vendor invoices for Swedish and international Instabee entities.
• Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and recorded.
• Manage and book vendor payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Handle vendor queries and payment-related questions; collaborate to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing, AP reporting and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes.
• Work with Accounting and Controlling teams; support other activities as needed.
• Support AP process development with AI and automation tools.

As our business continues to grow, so does the complexity of our financial operations. We are now looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Accountant to join our global Finance team and play an important role in our continued growth.

About the role

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be an important part of our Accounting team, responsible for day-to-day AP activities across our Swedish and international entities. You will help ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on time, payments are handled efficiently, and vendor relationships are well managed.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and stakeholders throughout the organisation, giving you broad exposure to our international business. We are on an exciting journey of developing and modernising our current processes, with a strong focus on leveraging AI, and you will play an active part in shaping this transformation.

Your responsibilities

We believe you have

• A degree or relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
• A good understanding of accounting principles and invoice processes
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system
• A structured, detail-oriented and organised approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and improve
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
