Job summary

Netlight in Stockholm is seeking a driven Finance Team Lead to manage a global GL accounting team and drive process improvements across the finance function.

You will lead daily accounting operations, coordinate month- and year-end closings, ensure reconciliations and reporting, and guide a high-performing, collaborative team in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP implementations and cloud-based ERP solutions is advantageous.
• Ability to drive improvements and manage change in finance processes.
• Previous team-lead or senior accountant/controller roles are meriting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily general ledger and accounting operations.
• Drive month-end and year-end closings and reporting with the group financial controller.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.
• Oversee annual financial reporting and audits.
• Manage VAT, tax, and other authority reporting.
• Streamline and improve financial routines and processes globally.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Act as project lead or finance expert in system implementation and development projects.

Are you a driven and committed finance professional with a genuine passion for accounting, leadership, and process development?

Netlight is seeking a Team Lead within accounting, who will be

responsible for leading a team of GL accountants globally as well as supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes globally.

The position is located in our office in Stockholm but you will be collaborating with colleagues across all our offices in an international Finance team.

Who you are

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience within finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• Experience from an ERP system implementation is highly preferable; experience with leading cloud-based ERP solutions, is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and manage change in finance processes.
• Experience from a similar team-lead or senior accountant/controller role is meriting.
