Job summary

Ericsson Research Radio in Stockholm is seeking a Researcher to deliver world-class 6G concepts and methodology. You will work with researchers, universities, customers and industry partners in a collaborative, international environment.

You will define and evaluate new radio concepts using analysis, simulations, experiments, and prototypes, and contribute to IP and 3GPP standardization. This role is hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, data science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Experience in wireless communication systems, particularly physical-layer technologies, radio sensing, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience using Python or similar programming languages and machine learning tools for simulations and analysis.
• An understanding of 3GPP radio access network standards, especially RAN1 or RAN4, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate ideas using both theory and practical testing.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with people from different technical and cultural backgrounds.
• Motivation to explore new ideas and contribute to the development of future communication technologies.

Responsibilities
