Job description
  • Scheduling and Planning: Organize and schedule workshop activities, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

  • Team Management: Supervise workshop staff, including mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.

  • Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on vehicle status.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely ordering of supplies.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the workshop adheres to safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze workshop performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Training and Development: Facilitate training programs for staff to enhance skills and keep up with new technologies.

  • Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing the workshop budget, monitoring expenses and profitability.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on workshop activities, performance, and customer satisfaction for management review.

Skills

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.

  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within a workshop environment.
