DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an innovative and hands-on individual with a passion for customer service to join our Operations Workforce Staffing team, supporting our Operations in the Middle East, specifically the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If you thrive in a challenging and exciting environment, this is the place for you, as you will have a direct impact on Amazon's growth by finding and attracting the highest quality talent.

This role is crucial to the success of the Operations business. Building relationships and proactively working with internal Amazon teams will be key. The ideal candidate will work effectively with internal and external customers and possess excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate must be able to manage a complex, high-volume recruitment process to meet all customer SLAs. They will thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, be proactive, work hard, have fun, and complete tasks efficiently. They should demonstrate the ability to prioritize, push back when necessary, exhibit a sense of urgency, and understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer service to clients and candidates.

Core Responsibilities and Skills:
  1. Ability to work in highly ambiguous environments and develop scalable solutions adaptable to business needs.
  2. Identify effective supply chain partners, onboard them, and manage performance against execution, cost, and compliance metrics.
  3. Understand and actively participate in Workforce Planning to stay updated on labor supply and market trends.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders (Operations, HR, Finance) for labor planning to identify hiring needs and execute plans for Business as Usual and Peak periods.
  5. Develop labor acquisition strategies, including employee classification, talent pool utilization, and channel resource management across Amazon businesses.
  6. Lead initiatives to optimize hiring lead times, costs, and service levels.
  7. Ensure compliance in hiring processes, including medical checks, contract issuance, employment document collection (e.g., Ajeer, Iqama, social insurance, craft license).
  8. Support diversity and inclusion by maintaining a talent pipeline for People with disabilities.
  9. Implement mechanisms to track employment files and ensure their completion and updates.
  10. Manage associate document withdrawal processes and governance.
  11. Maintain a deep understanding of KSA employment policies and implement updates as needed.
  12. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, conveying updates on issues, operational status, and business drivers during reviews.
  13. Develop vendor performance metrics to improve business outcomes.
  14. Engage with other Amazon units globally to share best practices and enhance end-to-end processes.
