Under general supervision, responsible for HAL contractual operations at the well site. Understands objectives of the well services operation and takes actions required to accomplish them. Responsible for reporting and protecting the health and safety of employees, contractors, and the public from harm resulting from operations. Protects the environment from damage resulting from operations. Coordinates work of product services lines and third-party subcontractors to meet engineered well design. Supervises day-to-day field operations at the well site. Acts as a matrix manager for HSE and logistics personnel on location. Maintains leadership in HSE through active participation in audits, inspections, and reviews in accordance with the HSE Plan. Participates in and facilitates incident and near-miss investigations, validation of closed corrective actions, and audit of open items. Responsible for move-in, rig-up, rig-down, and move-out of equipment. Directs well operations processes. Manages field operations to meet specified well services objectives within time and cost targets. Prepares a daily 7-day lookahead plan for equipment, materials, and personnel for well operations.
Position requires current IADC or IWCF supervisory well control certification. A high school diploma and at least five years of rig site experience, including three years of operational management, are required. An undergraduate degree is preferred.
