Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of welded joints and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  2. Review and interpret welding procedure specifications (WPS) and ensure that all welders are qualified to perform their tasks.
  3. Utilize non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant tests to evaluate weld integrity.
  4. Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, highlighting any discrepancies or non-conformance in welding practices.
  5. Monitor welding processes and provide on-the-spot guidance to welders to improve technique and reduce defects.
  6. Collaborate with project engineers and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in welding inspection, particularly in industrial or construction sectors.
  3. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage for effective communication.
